Fundamentally

Challenge comes in many disguises and many challenges are subjective to ourselves, the way WE expect things to be mostly.
My expectations are generally not high - not because I don't believe that people or situations or institutions can be amazing, but because generally I don't have time to reflect on what might be. Also, I am someone that believes people really will have done their best and who am I to judge, based on what I might have done?

I do look forward to things, but is that the same as having expectations?

In looking forward, I get disappointed if I am 'dragged back'.
In looking forward, I get disappointed if I can discern that the best is not being delivered, when it really matters.
